Tekmetric Settings Setup

This comprehensive guide will walk you through the process of setting up your Tekmetric integration, step by step.

1. Log In

Begin by logging in to your Tekmetric account.

2. Navigate to Settings

Once logged in, locate and navigate to the Settings page within your My Oil Sticker account in the left hand payne.

3. Edit Preferences

• Click on the Edit button.

• Service Interval & Time:

• Enter your preferred service interval using miles, kilometers, or hours.

• Specify the service time in months.

• Shop Information:

• Input your shop's phone number.

• Add a tagline or use this field for your address or website.

• QR Code:

• Paste the QR code link that you want to use. This could direct users to your:

• Website

• Appointment Scheduler

• Review Platform

• Any other relevant URL

4. Customize Sticker Appearance

• Font and Background Color:

• Choose the desired font color and background color for your sticker.

• Add to All Stickers:

• Toggle this option ON if you want to apply these color settings to all stickers universally.

5. Set Up Tekmetric Integration

• Integration Selection:

• From the available options, select Tekmetric as your integration.

• Tekmetric Credentials:

• Enter your:

• Shop subdomain

• Shop number

• Login Email

• Password

6. Save Changes

• Scroll to the top of the page and click Save.

• Logo Upload:

• Upload your shop's logo in PNG format.

• Click Save again to confirm.

7. Import Oil Data

• Navigate to the Oil Change Data tab.

• Click on Import Oil Data to transfer information from the Work in Progress column.

8. Print Stickers

• Click Print.

• Printer Selection:

• Ensure that the Brother VC500W printer is selected.

• More Settings:

• Sticker Size: Choose the correct sticker size (2x2 or 2x3.5).

• Margins: Set margins to None.
