Installing a Non-Published Chrome Extension

Follow these step-by-step instructions to install a non-published Chrome extension, such as the Tekmetric Chrome Extension.

Ensure you are using the Google Chrome browser, as Chrome extensions are designed specifically for it.

1. Click the puzzle piece icon located in the top-right corner of the Chrome browser.

2. From the dropdown menu, select "Manage Extensions." This will open the Extensions page where all installed extensions are listed.

1. In the top-right corner of the Extensions page, locate the "Developer mode" toggle switch.

2. Click the switch to turn Developer Mode ON. This allows you to install extensions manually that are not available in the Chrome Web Store.
