Here are the step-by-step instructions for enabling Full Cut Mode:

Enabling Full Cut Mode

Important Notes:

  • The default mode is ‘Kiss Cut’ to prevent paper jams when consecutive prints are executed.
  • Full Cut Mode should only be used when necessary, as it requires manual removal of each printed label before the next can be processed.
  • This method uses the ‘magic keys’ feature, which is an undocumented function.

Steps to Set Full Cut Mode as Default:

  1. Power On the Printer

    • Ensure the printer is powered on and ready for operation.
  2. Access ‘Magic Keys’ Mode

    • Hold down the Feed Button and Power Button simultaneously.
    • Continue holding until the indicator lights flash, then release both buttons.
  3. Enter Full Cut Mode

    • Press the Cut Button multiple times until you see a specific light pattern confirming Full Cut Mode is selected.
    • The exact number of presses may vary depending on the firmware version.
  4. Confirm the Setting

    • Once the correct mode is selected, press and hold the Feed Button for a few seconds to save the setting.
    • The printer should reset with Full Cut Mode enabled.
  5. Test the Functionality

    • Send a print job to verify that the printer performs a full cut after each print.
    • If the print is not cut as expected, repeat the steps to ensure the setting was saved correctly.

Additional Notes:
  • To return to Kiss Cut Mode, repeat the steps and select the appropriate mode instead.

By following these steps, you can enable Full Cut Mode for your prints, ensuring each label is fully separated while preventing paper jams.
